Storia.ro has invited the Dare to Rug designers to create a rug with unique design to celebrate Romania’s National Day. The commissioned rug is meant to promote Romanian values like innovation, determination and artistry.
Powerful symbolism was translated into the design and colours of this model, imagined as a tribute to the immense talent of Constantin Brâncuși who is globally recognised as one of the greatest Romanian artists. The symbol we reinterpreted here is Brâncuși’s Infinite Column that has always stood tall throughout history.
The rug is hand tufted with 100% wool from New Zealand and is meant to be used in unpretentious environments where it can uplift the whole room design on its own.
